Welcome, traveler! This is likely where you’ve wandered to seek out more insight as to who is behind this peculiar website – so, I will do my utmost to channel my inner scribe and hopefully provide some clarity.

While I am someone who holds many names, being referred to as Bex is what typically sticks! Creative expression has always come naturally to me, and is such an integral part of my existence. Because of this, I have steadily and intentionally expanded my skills through comprehensive explorations of multiple mediums; referring to myself as an omni-artist of sorts.

Taken by the illustrious Phi Vernon of Third Eye Arts at Inshala Campout.

Some notable experiences from my creative journey include:

· Successfully completing and gaining expertise through a variety of courses at Alberta University of the Arts (such as drawing, ceramics, painting, photography, and sculpture).
· Assisting with bringing a multitude of art installations to life at local Canadian festivals.
· Face-painting at all sorts of events.
· Conjuring up countless commissions for the most wondrous clientele (such as logos, acrylic and water-colour paintings, tattoo designs, portraits, etcetera).
· Producing album artworks and clothing designs for assorted local musicians.
· Teaching art to youngsters at the HSCA over the years, and the Leighton Art Center for a summer.
· Graduating from the Graphic Design program at VCAD (Visual College of Art & Design) which was paramount in broadening and refining my skill sets.
· Volunteering as a deco team lead and design consultant for LampLight Gathering (an island-based music and arts festival which transpired in 2023).
· Recently investing in learning how to operate a diode laser cutter and engraver, which has in turn simplified the silk-screening process and opened many pathways to commodity creation.

One absolutely paramount belief of mine is that as artists (and human-beings) we should never stop learning & growing; that’s what life is truly all about!

Other interests worthy of recognition:

· Horticulture, botany and gardening; tending to my indoor jungle.
· Writing (mainly poetry and existential guidance).
· Ceramics and sculpture.
· Hula-hooping and dancing (music would also fall into this category).
· Interior design and decorating.
· Outdoor activities such as hiking and camping.
· Mental health advocacy.
· and last but certainly not least, cartoons and video games!

Should you have made it this far, know that my gratitude is boundless! There are many incredible things on the horizon, and your support means everything to creatives like myself.

Thanks for Being Here!
